Soil Type: Grows well in a range of soil conditions, including clay, loam and sand, but it needs to be moist with good drainage.
Pest & Disease Resistance: Excellent pest and disease resistance. Netting may be required to protect fruit from birds.
Tasting Notes: Juicy and sweet with no bitterness
Uses: Eating fresh, crumbles, jams, pies and cheesecakes

Planting Time: January to December
Spacing: Plant 3m apart to allow for spreading.
Watering: During the first year after planting, water regularly, especially when the weather is hot and dry. After that, additional watering will only usually be needed in extended dry spells.
Feeding: During the spring, use a fertiliser with a high potassium content.
Pruning: Prune in late winter or early spring. Each year, cut the stems that have fruited all the way back to their base. Leave the newer stems that haven't yet fruited.
