A small planter is the perfect planter for starting off a plants life. If you're looking to start from scratch with some seedlings and cuttings, a small planter is perfect for you.
Our Zinc planters are made up of aluzinc, which is a lighter alternative to the traditional steel planters. Aluzinc is a combination of aluminium and zinc, which has been hot-dipped to increase its durability. These planters are lighter, allowing for easier usage and allow them to be moved about gardens.
For us, a small planter is anything that is 40-74cm in length, but small is a relative term, and so a small planter may only be small if you're growing large plants.
Your wooden planter has been pressure treated, which is considered to be the most effective form or wood treatment. This means your planter is more durable and sturdy, and is more protected against wood rot.
Whether you should use a small planter for a plant depends on your overall growing goals. If you're looking to grow a tree, a small planter can be the perfect starter planter, whereas for a row of roses, they can provide a permanent home.
