Zinc, while not completely rust-proof, corrodes at a much slower rate than many other metals. Our zinc planters are electroplated for rust and corrosion resistance, but avoiding scratches to the outer is crucial to maintain their protection, and also to use liners inside.

Corten steel is a steel alloy that develops a rust-like appearance when exposed to the elements, to help protect its resistance to corrosion. This makes it an exceptional choice for planters, as the metal planter is protected against deterioration.

Our metal planters often use specialised techniques such as powder coating and galvanization to increase their durability and lifespan.
