- Evergreen climber adorned with clusters of pure white, star-shaped flowers.
- Emits a sweet, intense aroma throughout summer, especially in the evenings; ideal for planting near seating areas.
- Glossy dark green leaves that turn bronze and ruby red during winter.
- Perfect for climbing sunny walls, pergolas, or doorways; this self-clinging plant requires no additional support once established.
- Blooms in clusters from June to September.
- Ideal for covering unsightly sheds, fences, or walls; can be pruned for small gardens and grown in pots.
- Recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit for exceptional performance.
- Note: Our climbers are pruned in winter and sometimes in summer, so they may not always cover the entire 90cm cane. This is done to promote optimal growth when planted.

- Soil Type: Any fertile, well-drained soil
- Pruning: Prune Annually
- Latin Name: Trachelospermum 'Jasminoides'
- Planting: Choose a warm, sheltered spot with fertile, well-drained soil. Plant in spring when all danger of frost is past. Loosen soil in the planting area and amend as needed. Dig a hole slightly wider, and the same depth or just a bit shallower than the root ball. Place in the hole so the top of the crown is slightly higher than the soil surface. Fill in the hole with soil, tamp down gently to remove air pockets, and water thoroughly. Water regularly until established. Space plants 3 to 10 feet apart, depending on the variety. When used as a ground cover, space at least 5 feet apart.
- Watering: Water regularly during the first year and during prolonged dry spells. Ensure the soil remains moist but not waterlogged.
- Feeding: Apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer in early spring. Avoid over-fertilizing, which may result in more foliage and fewer flowers. Apply a thin layer of compost around the base of plants each spring to feed plants, suppress weeds, and retain moisture.
- Pruning: Prune annually in late summer to early autumn after flowering. Pruning is done in combination with training so you can tie in any new shoots to your structure and prune the ones you do not want or congest the plant to the nearest strong side shoot. Remove any weak, overcrowded, or damaged shoots as necessary.
- Support: While mature plants are self-clinging, young growth will need some guiding and tying-in to supports until it is able to twine and climb. Provide wires or trellis for it to clamber up.
- Winter Care: Frost hardy up to -10ºC. In colder regions, protect the plant by placing it in a sheltered south-facing location. Mulch the soil around the base in spring or autumn with a thick layer of organic matter such as well-rotted compost or manure. Apply annually, on to damp soil. This will help to suppress weeds and hold moisture in the soil. Leave a 10cm (4in) gap around the stem to avoid any risk of rotting the bark.
