- Highlights
- Variety Specifications
- Planting & Care
- Enjoy unique 'donut' shaped nectarines with a mellow, sweet taste, perfect for eating fresh from the tree.
- Beautiful pink and white blossoms appear in spring, attracting bees and other pollinators to your garden.
- Features fragrant, red-skinned fruit with a juicy white interior.
- Harvest your delicious, home-grown nectarines from mid-August.
- Self-pollinating, meaning you only need one tree to get a reliable and plentiful crop.
- Thrives in a sunny, sheltered spot, ideal against a south or west-facing wall.
- Species: Peach
- Taste: Mellow, sweet and aromatic
- Flowering Time: March
- Flower Colour: Pink and white blossom in spring
- Harvest Time: August
- Position: Full sun
- Soil Type: Any well drained, fertile soil. Will tolerate less than perfect conditions but prefers well drained, loamy soils. If your soil is heavy or sandy, mix in some perlite or fine horticultural grit when planting, to improve drainage.
- Hardiness: H4 - May require some protection from very late frosts as this can damage the flowers. This won't cause lasting damage to the tree but will reduce the yield of fruit that year.
- Habit: An upright tree with a bushy habit
- Eventual Spread: Spreads approx 2.5-4m unless pruned
- Pest & Disease Resistance: Shows some resistance to the main pest and diseases for Peaches. Has a good resistance to Peach leaf curl, although not full resistance so you should still keep an eye out for it. You may see some damage from aphids and caterpillars, which can both be washed away with soapy water. Reduce the risk of bacterial canker by pruning to improve airflow and removed rotting organic matter nearby.
- Uses: Eating fresh, cooking, preserves
- Planting Time: January, February, March, November, December
- Spacing: Plant 1m apart to allow for spreading
- Watering: Water in thoroughly when planting. For bare root trees, you won't need to water regularly going forward, only water in dry spells when the leaves start to wilt and droop. When watering a tree it is important to give a good soaking rather than little and often, as this encourages the roots to grow down into the ground.
- Feeding: Peach trees get all the nutrients they need from the soil - if yours is poor quality, mix in some compost when planting.
- Pruning: Some pruning should be done each winter to ensure that your peach tree maintains a productive shape. This can improve yields and prevent disease.
Product Specifications
- Supplied As: 120-150cm Bare Root Tree
- Height on Arrival: 120-150cm including roots

- Eventual Height: Reaches a height of approx 5m
- Time to First Crop: You may see your first Peaches after 2 years but should not expect substantial crops for another 2-3 years after that.
