Watering: When newly planted, water at least once a month for the first couple of months. Afterwards, keep the soil moist but well-drained.
Feeding: The soil in the pot provides all necessary nutrients for the first season. You may wish to sprinkle a little fertiliser around the base when planting.
Pruning: Little or no pruning is required as it creates a well-branched framework naturally, but it responds well to hard pruning if necessary. Note: Young trees may not have a prominent weeping shape initially, but this will develop over time.
