Planting Time: October to April
Soil Type: Prefers any fertile, well-drained soil. If your soil is heavy clay, improve drainage by mixing in organic matter.
Pruning: Prune twice a year for best results. In late summer (July/August), cut back the long, whippy new shoots to five buds from the main woody stem. In late winter (January/February), shorten these same shoots further, back to two or three buds, to encourage prolific flowering.
Pest & Disease: Excellent resistance. Generally untroubled by pests or diseases.
