Originating from Bornholm Island in the Baltic Sea, it's built for tough weather but fruits best in warm, sunny spots.
Produces a generous crop of sweet, jam-like purple figs by late summer.
Its compact, bushy habit, reaching just 2.5m, is perfect for courtyard gardens, pots, and Mediterranean-style spaces.
