  • Late-season variety ready for harvest in October and November; fruit stores well through winter.
  • Requires a warm, sunny, and sheltered site with well-drained soil to ensure fruit ripens fully.
  • Supplied as a bare root tree during dormancy, which encourages faster root establishment and vigorous spring growth.
  • Suitable for container growing in large troughs or planters; choose a container at least 45cm deep and wide, fill with loam-based compost (John Innes No. 3), and ensure the graft union remains above the soil line.
  • Trained as a Stepover: a low-growing horizontal cordon (approximately 45cm tall) designed to act as productive edging for paths or kitchen garden beds.
