Habit: Clump-forming. A trunk-like clump (or log) from which fern fronds grow.
Eventual Spread: 2-3m (Spreads approximately two to three metres.)
Hardiness: H3 - Hardy down to -5°C. While one of the hardier tree ferns, Dicksonia antarctica will benefit from having its crown wrapped in straw throughout winter to protect it from the worst of the cold.
Pest & Disease Resistance: Excellent pest and disease resistance. Rarely troubled by pests or diseases.

Position: Plant in beds and borders in partial shade to full shade.
