Its upright, columnar growth habit creates a striking flame-like effect, perfect for adding vertical interest to gardens.
Features beautiful, maple-like leaves with five deep lobes and produces decorative, spiky fruit known as 'gum balls'.
The tree's name comes from the fragrant, sticky resin it produces, historically used by Aztecs and Native Americans.
