Soil Type: Prefers well-drained, fertile soil. Will tolerate most conditions except heavy clay.
Habit: Bushy, forming a dense hedge
Eventual Spread: Spreads approx 2-3m unless pruned
Growth Rate: Fast, expect 40-60cm per year

Planting Time: Can be planted year-round, except for November.
Spacing: For a dense hedge, plant 3-5 plants per metre.
Watering: Water well when newly planted and during dry spells.
Feeding: A low-maintenance plant that gets its nutrients from the soil; feeding is not required.
Pruning: Prune established hedges in late summer (August is ideal). A light tidy-up can be done in June if needed.
