The 'Conference' pear is a top UK choice, thriving in gardens or pots. Its ripe flesh is soft, juicy, and full of aromatic flavour.
The 'Victoria' plum is easy to grow and consistently produces large quantities of sweet plums, ideal for jam-making, with a long harvest season and good pest resistance.
The 'James Grieve' apple is a versatile heritage variety perfect for the UK's cooler, wetter regions. It is disease-resistant and excellent for making homemade apple juice.
All three varieties have received the RHS Award of Garden Merit, are fully hardy, and are suitable for gardens of any size.

Features: Victoria plum is self-fertile. The pear is partially self-fertile but crops better with a partner. The apple requires a pollination partner. In most built-up areas, suitable partners will be nearby.

Watering: Water in thoroughly when planting. For container-grown trees, water every other day for the first few months. Once established, water only in dry spells. It is better to water heavily and less frequently than little and often. Trees in pots need more regular watering.
Feeding: Fruit trees grown in the ground will not require feeding. If growing in pots, apply a sprinkle of general-purpose feed every six weeks during spring, summer and autumn.
Pruning: Prune annually each winter to ensure your fruit trees maintain a productive shape. This can improve yields and prevent disease.
Pest & Disease Care: To ensure good plant health, prevent crowded and humid conditions by spacing plants properly and removing weeds. Water at the soil level to prevent soil splashing onto the leaves.
