Glossy dark green leaves with soft white undersides shimmer beautifully in the breeze.
Features smooth, bright white bark when young, which darkens and furrows with age.
Produces red (male) or green (female) catkins in early spring on separate trees.
Perfect as a standalone feature tree or planted in groups to form a windbreak.
Can be pruned to suit any garden size, reaching up to 24m if left unpruned.
