Watering: Water thoroughly after planting. Water every other day for the first few months, reducing to twice a week until autumn. Once established, water only during dry spells.
Feeding: Apply a slow-release, general-purpose fertiliser and a layer of mulch after planting. Feed annually in spring.
Pruning: Requires minimal pruning. In late spring or early summer, remove any damaged, diseased or crossing branches. Always prune in dry weather to prevent infection.
