Yellow-eyed Grass forms attractive clumps of slender, iris-like, grey-green leaves, providing a fine, upright texture to pond margins and damp spots.

Throughout late spring and summer, it produces a delightful succession of bright yellow, star-shaped flowers, each with a darker yellow eye. These blooms are attractive to bees and other beneficial pollinators.

This plant is relatively low maintenance and generally free from pests and diseases. It can self-seed in favorable conditions, creating naturalistic drifts.

Ideal for bog gardens, damp meadows, or the shallow edges of ponds where it receives full sun to light shade. It prefers consistently moist, well-drained soil.
