Zantedeschia aethiopica ‘Marshmallow’ | ‘Marshmallow’ arum lily (calla lily) | Marginal Plant

• Marginal Plant - submerge slightly
• Plant in sun or partial shade in wet soil or water
• A bright and versatile accent plant
• Low maintenance and beneficial to wildlife

‘Marshmallow’ boasts large, arrow-shaped, deep green leaves, providing a lush and dramatic backdrop for its exquisitely colored blooms. The foliage itself is handsome and architectural.

During summer, it unfurls elegant, trumpet-shaped spathes that are primarily white but are beautifully suffused with a delicate soft pink blush, especially towards the edges and on the reverse, surrounding a central yellow spadix.

A truly eye-catching plant, perfect for adding a touch of romantic color and sophistication to bog gardens, pond margins, or as a striking container plant in consistently moist conditions. It's hardy in milder regions or with winter protection.

Prefers a sunny to partially shaded spot with consistently moist, rich, well-drained soil. Can tolerate shallow water at the pond edge during summer. Mulch generously in winter in colder zones to protect the rhizomes.
