Also known as Rustica Rubra, this magnolia produces abundant, two-toned blooms with a gentle, sweet scent.
Features large, saucer-shaped flowers up to 12cm across, with vivid rose-pink outer petals and a creamy-pink interior.
A very hardy variety (RHS H6), withstanding temperatures as low as -20°C.
After the floral display, attractive green leaves emerge on a well-branched, spreading frame, providing multi-season interest.
Perfect as a standalone specimen tree on a lawn, in a mixed border, or as a highlight in a magnolia collection.
