Also known as Rustica Rubra, this magnolia produces an abundance of huge, saucer-shaped blooms with a gentle scent.
Features stunning two-toned flowers, with a vivid rose pink outer layer and a softer, creamy-pink inside.
Each impressive flower can reach up to 12cm in diameter, creating a truly magnificent spring display.
A very hardy variety (RHS H6), withstanding temperatures as low as -20°C.
After flowering, attractive green leaves emerge, and the tree's well-branched, spreading structure provides year-round interest.
Perfect as a standalone specimen tree, in a mixed border, or as the highlight of your garden.
