The 'Rustic Red' magnolia, also known as Rustica Rubra, produces abundant, gently scented, two-toned blooms.
Features large, saucer-shaped flowers up to 12cm across, with vivid pink outer petals and a soft, creamy-pink interior.
A very hardy variety (RHS H6), withstanding temperatures as low as -20°C.
After flowering, attractive green leaves emerge, providing multi-season interest.
Its charming, spreading, and well-branched structure makes it a stunning centrepiece, even when leafless.
Perfect as a standalone specimen, in a mixed border, or planted with other magnolias.
