Hardiness: Somewhat Hardy. Best suited to warmer areas of the UK. Plant in a sheltered, south-facing spot to protect early blossoms from frost, which will ensure a better crop.
Soil: Prefers well-drained, loamy soils. Will struggle in poorly draining soil.
Eventual Spread: 4m (Myrobalan Rootstock) or 1m (Patio trained)

Planting Time: Can be planted all year round.
Pruning: Some structural pruning should be done each winter to maintain a productive shape, improve yields, and prevent disease. Your tree arrives professionally pruned to encourage strong growth.
Watering: Water in thoroughly when planting. For container-grown trees, water every other day for the first few months, reducing to twice a week until autumn. In the second year, water only during dry spells. It is better to water heavily and less frequently than little and often.
Feeding: This is not a hungry plant and does not require feeding.
Pest & Disease: Good resistance. Wash away aphids and caterpillars with soapy water. Use fruit nets to protect apricots from birds. Reduce the risk of bacterial canker by pruning to improve airflow.
