Appalling customer service after non receipt!

"I checked prior to ordering that the item would be received within a week for when it was needed as a gift. After reassurance, I ordered & received a dispatch email the following day. , showing delivery would be the following day. After no delivery for 3 days and tracking showing delivery was delayed, I contacted customer service and they blamed the courier. Eventually, a full week after ordering, I received an email saying my order hadn’t been delivered as my order hadn’t even been fully accepted at that point. I requested a cancellation and refund as it was too late for intended purchase but all communication was ignored. They finally contacted me AFTER they then went ahead and sent the item anyway, 10 days after ordering. saying shipping could not then be stopped! To add further insult, they then said I could return the item at my own cost! Absolutely shocking customer service"
