"As mentioned in an earlier review, hopefully these metal planters will last longer than my wooden ones. Only negative I found that inset planter was not included in the relatively high purchase price but had to be bought separately - without the inset planter the item doesn’t serve its purpose."

I do not plan to put any deep rooted plants in them, therefore a liner would have made the planters less expensive to use as they required such a lot of compost.
