Measuring approximately 45cm in height and 70cm in diameter, each barrel holds up to 150 litres of water, providing ample room for a variety of aquatic plants and creating an inviting habitat for garden wildlife.

Floating Solar Fountain Lily Pump
(Optional) use the clear plastic liner to line the barrel. To plant your oak barrel pond, begin by placing a 1-litre deep water plant or miniature water lily at the base. Then arrange your three marginal plants around it. Fill the barrel with fresh water until the crowns of the marginal plants are submerged by around 3cm. Maintain water levels throughout the season by topping up as needed. Place the barrel in a sunny or partially shaded location for best results. While the plants are hardy, protect the container from prolonged freezing conditions to avoid damage.
Even in small water features, water movement is essential for a healthy environment. Still water invites stagnation and algae. Whether it's a pump creating gentle circulation or a fountain adding an aerating spray, moving water significantly boosts oxygen levels, discourages algae, and improves overall water quality. This creates a more balanced ecosystem and enhances the visual and auditory appeal of your feature. While plants help, they often can't fully prevent algae in warm, still conditions, making a pump or fountain a crucial addition.

"I'm being asked to review something that I've yet to receive. The roughly sawn half barrel was left on my doorstep although I apparently signed for it according to DX, I'm still waiting for Hazel to call and tell me when my plants will be delivered, and the Shop app is the absolute worse tracking tool ever, it simply doesn't work. I'll happily update my review when I've received everything I bought, but as of now I'm not impressed."
"Barrel and plants are excellent and look very nice in my garden. However, customer service and the courier need to improve. First barrel was lost in transit meaning the plants that were delivered timely had to sit in buckets for over 3 weeks whilst I made multiple email and telephone requests for updates (kept getting told by Woven they'd investigate and call me back, but never did) and finally a replacement barrel."
"The pond itself is perfect, hence the 5 stars. However, the first barrel pond to arrive. . . err, well, it had a large hole drilled in the bottom. So, it wasn't a pond, it was a planter. But no, when I asked for a barrel pond to be sent again, it was a pond, I was told, it just needed. . . . a bung! Right, so they sent out a selection of hardwood bungs. None fitted, of course, because it was a planter. Why would you drill a hole in a pond and then seal it with a bung in the first place?! So, I emailed again. . . . . Please stop messing me around. This time, an earnest apology and a barrel pond sent out immediately which arrived within 2 days. Hurrah! Said pond now sits proudly on the patio, a solid bottom. . . . no hole. . . filled with water(and water tight it is) and proudly housing new plants. PS. . . The 2. 5w solar powered fountain is absolutely brilliant. If only it was made in Britain, not China. But that's a tale for another day. . . ."

"All arrived alright although one of the rings needed re-siting as it had slipped. Some leakage when filled but no more than expected. Plants arrived in good condition. What would have been helpful was a page explaining how to set it up with some troubleshooting ideas, such as how to achieve different planting heights for the water plants, how long to soak the barrel for before adding the plants etc."
