Watering: Water frequently while new plants are establishing and during dry periods in the growing season. Try to avoid wetting crowns and fruit as this can promote disease.
Feeding: To help develop flavour, start feeding with a potassium-rich feed just as the flowers begin to show. This helps the plants produce fruit with more sugar.
