Prune annually in mid to late February while the tree is dormant. This helps to maintain the weeping shape, encourages cropping, and removes any dead or crossing branches.
This tree is fully hardy throughout the UK. However, a late frost can damage the blossom. If frost is forecast while the tree is in flower, protect it overnight with horticultural fleece.
