Fertility: Self-fertile. Does not require a pollination partner to produce fruit but may produce better crops if one is nearby.

Position: Full sun.
Soil: Prefers well-drained, loamy soils. Will tolerate less than perfect conditions but may struggle in poorly draining soil.
