Pick a container at least twice the size of the tree’s current root ball width and deep enough to add 5-8 cm of fresh soil beneath it. Allow 5 cm clearance all round for root expansion.
Our zinc and Corten planters come with drainage holes as standard so no need for drilling. However if you opt for one of our oak cask half barrel planters you will need to add drainage as unlike our other planters these do not come pre-drilled with drainage holes.

We do advise using a wheeled trolly if you want to move your tree after it's planted, however - they can be very heavy!
