These planters are designed for high specification, modern gardens where style and practicality is of the utmost importance. We provide a wide range of sizes to suit all needs, making these planters great for flower beds, growing vegetable, doorstep pots, borders and more. Handmade in the UK, the pressure treated, FSC Certified timber is pet and food growth friendly and boasts a thick 45mm profile, ensuring a significantly enhanced lifespan and solid build. Each length is also 45mm high giving a square, slatted appearance. Take advantage of the pre-assembly and pre-fitted liner to simply unpack and fill these items, there is zero assembly required. Clever design intricacies allow most fixings to be totally hidden from view and a lower profile wood for the base allows for excess water to move quickly through the product, without compromising the structural integrity or product longevity. With an estimated lifespan of 25 years, we specialise in providing products of the utmost quality which will outlast other market leading products. Add a splash of exterior grade paint to colour match your garden perfectly.
We email instructions for assembly to your email, and they are downloadable from the product page. We can also provide them to you on request, if you contact us.
1. Regular Cleaning: It's important to clean your wooden planters at least once a year to prevent the build-up of dirt and grime. You can do this with a mild soap and warm water solution. Rinse thoroughly and allow the planter to dry completely.
2. Drainage: Make sure your planters have sufficient drainage to prevent water logging. Standing water can lead to rot, which can damage your planter and harm your plants. Consider drilling additional holes if necessary.
3. Protective Liner: Consider using a protective liner inside the planter to prevent direct contact between the soil and wood, which can lead to rot. You can use landscaping fabric, plastic or even a thick layer of newspaper.
4. Treating the Wood: To protect the planter from the elements and increase its lifespan, it's recommended to treat the wood annually with a non-toxic, weather-resistant wood sealant or preservative. Make sure to choose a product that's safe for use around plants
