This delightful miniature cattail has slender, grass-like, blue-green leaves and typically grows only 1.5-2.5 feet (45-75cm) tall, making it exceptionally well-behaved.
It produces small, almost spherical to oval, dark brown seed heads (catkins) in summer, which are very ornamental and perfectly proportionate to the plant's diminutive size.
